Additional information is sent once registration is complete. This includes information to help you prepare, a syllabus and an assignment to complete before the workshop starts.
Important
Prerequisites: are outlined in the ACA document. These are required and unfortunately the ACA does not allow exceptions. Please don't allow one of these to prevent your participation.
Important: The IDW is combined with the ACA Level 4 Skills Assessment passing the assessment is an
ACA prerequisite for attending the Trip Leader traiing. Not passing the assessment means
not attending the training.
Memberships: ACA membership is required for all workshops, join here.
Equipment: You provide your own boat, equipment, etc as needed. Rentals are not available.
For safety, everyone needs to have the proper equipment to participate. Please don't let the wrong equipment prevent your participation.

Workshop Combination
The Training workshop is combined with the ACA Level 4 Skills Assessment and attending both is required. The combination is for scheduling convenience and passing the Skills Assessment is an ACA prerequisite for the Trip Leader Training.
